Lipari and Vulcano: The Aeolian Islands You will already enjoy a wonderful ride to Milazzo in a comfortably equipped coach. The trip takes you along Sicily's North coast while you will cross a countryside blooming in its natural state. You will continue our journey on the ferry which takes you to Lipari (duration 1,5 hours). You have the opportunity to visit the interesting museum of Lipari (directly located at the harbour) or to take a stroll through the narrow streets of town, before you take a small ferry to Vulcano. At Vulcano, you will find the black lava beach and the hot water springs very inviting to go swimming. If you feel adventurous, you can climb the island's crater together with your tour guide. Up on the crater, you have a fantastic view over Lipari, Salina and Vulcano. On a very clear day, you might even be able to spot Stromoboli which the most famous of all volcanos here and the other Aeolian Island Panarea, Alicudi and Filicudi. You can spend your lunch break by enjoying the local, very delicous fish- and pasta dishes in one of trattorias located at the harbour.
