Although we may sound boastful we must admit that we are very proud of our pool! It is equipped with five lanes and as we like to take good care of the very ambitious swimmers amongst our guests, one lane is always reserved for undisturbed training purposes.
We have had the honour to host National teams as well as sports clubs, however, our smaller guests will not feel neglected as our children's pool is located in this area as well.
Water gymnastics is free of charge at Hotel Kalura: Dario, our fitness trainer, invites you to exercise with him three times a week. If you like to sign up for private swimming instructions: We provide a trainer for you! An hourly instruction costs 15 €.
Our pool bar is open form the middle of June till the end of Oktober. Deck chairs and sunshades are available for your convenience and their use is free of charge at our guests of course. You will also find a table-tennis table here as well, bats can be borrowed from our swimming-pool attendant.
On request, we will provide this agreeable temperature for sports clubs in other periodes also. Our widely-known "Grigliata" takes place at the pool once a week in the summer months.
"Grigliata" is a barbecue party with lots of food, wine and music which usually ends long after midnight with disco dancing under the fanctastic starry Sicilian skies.
