This is for sure the tour of the champs! First, you will climb up to 300 m into the direction of the cloistery Gibilmanna. Soon, you will leave the comfortable asphalt and find yourself on a road-metal track right in the middle of the beautiful and secluded Sicilian moutains. This is Europe's biggest herbal garden: the air is filled with the beautiful scent of rosemary and thyme. You will find all kinds of trees, probably in blossom: olive trees, orange- and almond trees, only to mention a few! Finally, we will reach Isnello, a pitturesque mountainous village. You can have a delicious cappuccino here or a snack. After our lunch break, we will climb up to more alpine regions, not as high up as the Monte Carbonaro (2000 m of altitude...) but at least up to 1000 m! The refreshing down-hill is endless fun! We will cruise through Gratteri which looks like a bird's nest sitting on its mountain top, then we will ride through Lascari's beautiful forest which seems to be taken out of a fairy-tale book. You will almost always have a gorgeous sea view while we will head back to the hotel on the road along the coast.
